improved design

that does not break everytime batteries are replaced. However - the sync'ing procedure is in the installer's book -NOT in the customer book (that needs improvement). The youtube videos were not helpful - installer competed in 37 seconds.

Instructions on how to setup with system

Put the remote into programing mode first. (push and hold the function button until you hear a long beep)
Then press and hold the remote start button until it beeps 3 times.
Now open one of your doors. (i recommend the driver door for ease)
Insert the key and turn the key to the on position. (where all the lights on the dash come on and the radio starts)
Press the button on the antenna, then press and hold it until you hear the alarm system chirp.
Now press the lock button on the remote and you will hear a second chirp, this is to confirm the remote has been learned.
turn off the car and remove the key.

The remote its self is a vast improvement from the old style which would break after a month or two of use. If you have the old one PLEASE do your self a favor and purchase this.

completely different & redesigned remote...

Was disappointed that the original 2-way remote broke in a short 2 year period of SEASONAL usage only. The battery door broke and the key chain "loop" snapped off.
I was skeptical about ordering the same one again, only this one is a different color, until I read other Amazon reviews that said this remote is completely redesigned to fix all the flaws in the previous model.
This remote looks to be built much better.
