Not For Nook color or Tablet

This product is for any device using a Micro USB (Not Mini) great for that. I bought it for use with the Nook Tablet rather than the $20+ car charger from B&N. However although, the Nook Tablet is a Mini USB it is modified not to work with a regular mini USB. so beware IT DOES NOT WORK with NOOK TABLET. Still a great product at a great price to use with any mini USB device very compact as shown and the retract device works with a push button release rather than a pull snap retract that makes it nice. I will keep it for other devices although I ordered it specifically for the Nook. Don't know if older Nooks use Mini USB port, this is my first tablet, unfortunately for the consumer company's are learning to adapt Sony's practice of making there products proprietary. A very bad idea and the only reason I DO NOT BUY SONY products. As with the Nook Tablet blocking its side bar from being able to boot to an accessible android market. and hundreds of FREE apps. Why would you want to stop your product from being a better more diverse product? Oh, yea GREED. used to be called creating a monopoly.

not exactly as advertised

The charger advertises that it works with the B&N Nook. It does not. It fits it, but it doesn't charge the device. It can be used for cell phones, like my LG, however, I don't need another portable charger in my car! I think B&N may have cornered the market on portable chargers for their Nook...Since it was cheap, I thought it would suffice. It certainly doesn't.
